Reversible robe “Vellis”

There are things understood not by the mind, but by the skin. This robe is one of them.

The outer side — silk crepe georgette. Matte, noble, with a fine texture like ripples on water. Across it, flowers and petals are scattered — not a bouquet, not a wreath, but truly scattered, as if wind has just passed through a blooming garden and left its trace. The petals gather and thin, creating a sense of movement, breath, life.

All of this is framed by silk velvet in mint green. It runs along the edges of the robe and sleeves, softly completing the composition. Mint here is not an accent but an extension of the base, its velvet whisper. It is matched precisely to the tone of the main silk, creating a sense of monolith, of wholeness.

The inner side — 100% handwoven silk, toile. A dense, noble fabric with character. Its ground is orange-terracotta, warm as clay after sunset, as the tiles of old Mediterranean roofs, as the earth itself holding the day’s heat.

And upon this warm depth — a gray border of silk velvet. It follows the same edges as the outer side, but now gray enters into dialogue with terracotta. Cool with warm. Restrained with generous. This border does not argue but emphasizes, does not interrupt but highlights.

Two sides. Two moods. One robe.

“Vellis” is about the woman who can be different. Today — light as petals in the wind, in the mint haze of crepe georgette. Tomorrow — warm, deep, as terracotta, with a gray edge of wisdom along the borders.

The sleeves are loose, flowing. They move with you yet remember their shape.
