Robe ” SAMARKAND SUN”

980,00 $

SAMARKAND SUN is a silk-and-cotton robe where cool turquoise meets the warmth of sunlight. Ornamental stripes run through the fabric: pale-blue floral motifs alternate with turquoise scrolls, fine blue lines and straw-yellow bands. The visible weave gives the design depth, inviting a closer look at its smallest details.

The pattern recalls Samarkand’s architectural borders and tiled panels, where botanical forms sit alongside precise geometry. This is a visual association rather than a reproduction of a particular historic design: the rhythm of ornament finds a new expression in a relaxed, contemporary silhouette. Golden-yellow front bands frame the fabric like sunlight around a turquoise arch.

The distinctive accent is sashiko detailing with sun-yellow crystals on the sleeves. Their rich, almost saffron hue stands out against the cool blue ground. Faceted surfaces catch small flashes of light, while delicate openings lend airiness to the detailing. Lurex on the sleeves complements the crystals with a softer, silvery shimmer.

Sized S–L, the long, relaxed cut and wide sleeves leave room to move. Across the back, the stripes form an uninterrupted ornamental canvas; along the sleeves, they curve with the folds. Wear the robe open over simple separates, allowing colour, texture and crystals to take centre stage.
