Reversible robe “Silver Garden”

Silver Garden is a reversible robe in which the delicacy of the fabric becomes part of the ornament. Silk blended with exceptionally fine cashmere creates a soft, airy foundation for hand embroidery. Smoky charcoal, silvery ivory threads and the deep greens of the reverse form a restrained, refined palette.

Elongated botanical compositions resemble small flowering trees: slender stems branch into leaves, buds and tiny blossoms. Pale motifs alternate with darker, subtly visible ornament, adding depth to the surface. Embroidered borders finish the sleeves, leaving broad plain edges as a quiet frame for the intricate handwork.

The delicate botanical imagery evokes the courtly aesthetic of Nur Jahan, the influential seventeenth-century Mughal empress. Her presence here is a poetic reference to a world of precious textiles, flowering gardens and refined adornment. Rather than reproducing a particular historical garment, the robe captures a related mood: the dignity of a relaxed silhouette and a luxury revealed up close, stitch by stitch.

The reverse, crafted from 100% pure silk, unfolds in olive and deep forest tones. Small, pale four-part rosettes alternate with dark and green geometric elements. After the flowing lines of the embroidery, this ordered pattern introduces a different composition — like stepping from a flowering garden into a mosaic-lined courtyard.

The long, relaxed silhouette and wide sleeves allow the fabrics to drape softly. Wear the embroidered side outward, revealing green silk at the turned-back edges, or reverse the robe to make the geometric pattern the focus. A simple dress or a solid-colour ensemble complements either side.

The wearing ritual is a choice between a silver branch and a green mosaic, between the airy softness of silk and cashmere and the smooth touch of pure silk.
