Robe “SILVER RAIN”

SILVER RAIN is a linen robe whose linear rhythm is softened by natural texture. Smoky-blue stripes and silvery-blue lurex threads run across a pale grey ground. Their gently irregular edges evoke rain rendered in loose brushstrokes: lines extend, break and reappear against the matte surface.

The shimmer is concentrated within individual stripes rather than spread across the fabric. As the robe moves, they catch the light like droplets on bamboo stems after rain. The restrained palette draws attention to the details: the linen weave, the shape of the sleeves and the soft folds gathered by the belt.

The robe’s Eastern sensibility emerges through the image of a garden after rainfall — cool air, clear lines and a stillness that makes small details visible. Broad pale spaces between the blue stripes lend the composition a sense of calm and openness.

Sized S–L, the dropped shoulders and long, relaxed cut leave room to move. Voluminous sleeves gather into wide cuffs, while the belt gently defines the waist. Pair the robe with dark denim to echo the blue lines, or layer it over ivory to bring out the cool shimmer of the silver-toned threads.
