Reversible Kimono Robe “Pomegranate Dusk”

Pomegranate Dusk is a reversible kimono robe where the richness of a flowering garden meets the stillness of evening shade. On the silk-and-cotton side, a pomegranate-red ground alternates with ivory botanical medallions. Wine-and-plum flowers with golden centres bloom within them, accompanied by curved leaves traced with green. Small rosettes fill the spaces between larger motifs, sustaining the pattern’s flowing rhythm.

The composition recalls the floral ornament of Central Asian suzani textiles, expressing their decorative richness through print rather than embroidery. Its warm palette evokes a secluded courtyard where the last sunlight rests on petals and terracotta walls.

The chocolate silk chiffon reverse transforms the mood. A fine lengthwise texture accentuates the fabric’s movement, while floral borders frame the front edges, sleeves and hem. Abundant blossoms give way to a deep, quiet shade, like a garden gradually settling into dusk.

Sashiko with faceted beads traces the sleeve joins with a delicate line of light. A belt finished with champagne-coloured silk tassels completes the piece. Sized S–L, the long, relaxed cut and wide sleeves allow the robe to be worn open or gathered into soft folds with the belt — revealing either the expressive print or the understated chocolate reverse.
